Home and Business Battery Scheme $6000 Grant

The Home and Business Battery Scheme provides a $6000 grant to homeowners, businesses, not-for- profit and community organisations for the purchase and installation of solar PV systems with an eligible battery and inverter, or for those who already have solar, for the purchase and installation of an eligible battery and inverter.

Not all Battery Storage Systems are the same. Many systems provide no back up capability, so if there is a black out and the grid goes down so does your battery system.
No lights, no fans, no internet, no fridges and freezers.

STC Rebate

The Federal STC rebate provides a significant off set to the cost of installing solar. The size of the rebate is proportional to the size of PV solar installed. The more you install the more rebate.
For example for a typical 6.6kW solar system it is the equivalent of around a $4000 grant.

The value of this STC rebate is reducing every year in line with its closure date in eleven years time.

So there is no better time than now to install Solar.
